My husband and I went with another couple on a weekend night. It was fairly busy but our server was prompt and we had no issues with the service.Three of us ordered a quesadilla that was a special and it was delicious. My friend ordered a salad which looked amazing. As an appetizer, we ordered the onion rings which are homemade and just outstanding. My only complaint was that I felt the price was too high for how many you got.All in all, a very pleasant experience and we will be back.

Good food and relaxed atmosphere

Country tavern feel with great solo guiter performance. Varied menu and large portions. Friday night clam chowder is excellent. The winter season however, capacity filled with "senior snowbirds". So you might have a wait on your hands.

Wow. We live nearby and are always wondering why it’s so packed! We got to stop by for lunch today, and it was delicious! Our server Julia was amazing and extremely helpful. We will definitely be back!!

We went here two weeks ago after a day of hiking. I haven't been since 1999 but was happy to see it was still there, with a new name. It still has the small town atmosphere which is nice because Gold Canyon has grown so much. Attentive staff. Prime rib was tough. I'm hoping it was just an off night.The vegetables were lack luster..mostly just unflavored carrots. Some roasted vegetables would be a great addition. Baked potato didnt come with anything fancy, just butter. Dessert was delicious, a blueberry tart. From other reviews I'd give it a second chance, especially for the price but the meat definately needs some tlc.

Great experience, large portions, my mother was impressed with her salad. Karen our server was always one step ahead of us with great service. I enjoyed the taco soup and cheese curds. We will definitely be back!

Awesome place! Had my moms 75th birthday party here in May! The staff was amazing, helpful, and courteous. Owners were great and came to our table to talk with our guests making sure everything was to our liking. We live in Peoria and can’t wait to take the beautiful drive out there again! Definitely worth the drive!

I just want to say, YUM!!!! I had onion rings and fried avocados (yes, it's a real thing!!) and they were Delicious!! Then went on to a spicy burger that was so good I wanted drink the chipotle sauce! ! Then on to a HUGE cookie for dessert!! I was stuffed, so thankfully those in my party made short work of that!! Great place! We'll be back!

Had no idea this place even existed. So glad we found it. First place I've been too in a long time where my steak was correctly cooked to order. Riley was an amazing server! So helpful & friendly while giving us enough breathing room to enjoy our meal. Hubby loved the onion rings stating "you can definitely tell these are fresh". 1/2 lb burger was cooked perfectly too. Another unincorporated #pinalcounty treasure. Definitely be back.

The food was delicious! We had wings, a burger and prime rib. The burger was so juicy and flavorful - highly recommended! Prime rib was a Saturday night special 10oz with baked or mashed potato, vegetable and dessert all for $18.99 - a great price! I would definitely get it again! The dessert you could tell was homemade and Amazing! The live music was great too. All around good experience and worth stopping in!

Best steak house! We sat out in the Arizona room with the BEAUTIFUL view of mountains! Our waitress Kim was so nice and fast. Our food came out really fast, my husband loved his burger and I had a really good prime rib with some Amazing asparagus! This is a must see restaurant and we will be back soon!

Good food and service. Bring in a golf score card and get a beer for a buck. What a deal.

The service was friendly and just right- no unnecessary hovering. Sports bar atmosphere with tables for dining also. We had the Gold Stallion burger and the fish and chips. Both were good and too filling to try some of the desserts. Next time.

Good food and great service. We enjoy eating here. The waitstaff is awesome, especially Jen R. The owners take time to visit you and make sure your experience and food are to your expectations. The Chef even comes out from time to time to make sure everything is good. Friday's clam chowder is AMAZING. Will be back for the fish and chip and French dip again soon!!

They had Alaskan salmon which is mercury free-Atlantic salmon full of mercury-Alaskan a much healthier fish zucchini side excellent

Great place. Food is great. The atmosphere is so friendly. Owners Kim and Phil are very attentive and want your experience to be great. This is my place of choice....I wont go back to that other place. Make sure you try the Gold stallion you wont be dissapointed .

For a sports bar atmosphere I thought the food was overpriced but decent. The wait staff seemed inattentive and slow. Great cheese curds.

Great service. The owner came and greeted us and Karen, our waitress, was really nice and attentive. I had the special which was a salad with salmon and a cheeseburger soup. Food was good and large portions.

Melt in your mouth prime rib. I am from beef country and this rib was great. Very tender, nice outside seasoning, perfectly cooked. The au jus and horseradish sauce were both tasty. My daughters vegetables were done on the grill . Really makes them delicious.The wait staff are all wonderful. This will be our new restaurant.

Great bartender Shaunna. Food was terrific. But the service was the best.

Glad to have this restaurant in our community. We went there last week & I had a hard time choosing what to eat because I had heard great things about many dishes on Facebook. We decided to share a bacon cheeseburger & the Philly cheese steak sliders. Excellent! The single patty burger is generous in size & there's an option to get a double. The burger had good flavor & was juicy. The fries were crispy not greasy. The sliders were awesome! Excellent flavor & the meat was steak not dried beef. They had music which was a guitar player/singer. Not intrusive or loud. The restaurant is now brighter inside. I believe outside dining too. Staff was friendly. Had the opportunity to meet one of the owners & she was very nice. Can't wait to go back. There are several items I still want to try!

Seated quickly. Drinks ordered and served quickly. I ordered chicken fried steak which was ok; nothing special about it. Friend ordered prime rib rare but it came out raw so it was taken back to be flash seared; nice that the cook came out with the plate to ensure it was ok. Potato skins appetizer were nicely loaded with cheese and toppings.

Great service and food was very good too. Will definitely be going back. Saturday night special is prime rib night. Great portion

We ordered Fish and Chips takeout dinners today. Delicious! This may be a new Friday tradition for us.

The food was very good. They had plenty of waitresses, but it took along time for the food to come out. But to be fair the place was pretty busy.

Prime rib Saturday with live music! They make an excellent dirty martini! Lots of parking. Service with a smile. A go-to spot in Gold Canyon.

The Gold Stallion is a great place to eat. Courteous staff serve delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere.

The staff was attentive and overwhelmed because they were short a waitress due to car accident. I could barely make out what the live entertainer was singing.

Had a couple of cocktails and dinner with friends. Very friendly and attentive staff and the food was delicious! There was live music as well, which was very good! We had a great time!

Have been there several times. They don't make you wait for service, which has always been fast and friendly. Their menu is varied and prices reasonable. The food is excellent. We have never been disappointed. We recommend this restaurant and we will be returning again and again.

The owner of this establishment has been one of the best i have met in decades. We had some struggles with the chef but the owner never made us feel bad for speaking up and tried to make it right. The staff involved was equally as respectful and thoughtful!! These people tried so hard to make it right and they took responsibility for the problem we had. Because of that our group was able to enjoy a great breakfast and quiet a few bloody mary’s that were unlike any other and picture/post worthy!! We have many friends and family in Gold Canyon and we have already and will continue highly recommend this place!! it was almost like going back in time when people worked hard and cared about their customers! Cant say enough positive things about the owner, management and waitress Gabby!

Very genuine, down to earth, people work there. My burger was a little overcooked, but tasty. Generous portions.

We love this place! We have been multiple times and the food is always delicious! We love the hand battered onion rings, salads and burgers! Staff is always super friendly and owners have almost always come by our table to say hello!

My husband is a disabled wheelchair bound vet. There is a ramp but no wheelchair access to the ramp or to the outside patio.we want to support local business. We were told about 6 months ago they would work on fixing this issue. We drive by weekly from church, but so far don't see any way from the lot to the ramp without stepping up which can't be done on a wheelchair.

My wife and I have been going there pretty much weekly since the opened last February. They've been offering prime rib on Saturday nights as a special. Never had such great prime rib until we had it there. They are a class act restaurant.

We will make the trip out to eat here again..best bar food we have had in a long time. My husband is a bar food junkie and they were over the top according to him. Amber was our server and she was great!!

Fun place, great bartenders, bathrooms.... both are either or.... sometimes could use more attention. But still our new favorite place.
